Heather Childers

   Heather Star Childers, an American anchor on television, is Heather Star Childers. She was anchor of the news channel Fox News Channel from 2010 until 2020. Presently, she anchors American Agenda, Newsmax TV. Childers was born in Hartsville in South Carolina and grew up close to Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1987, she graduated from Myers Park High School. Childers attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and later earned an undergraduate degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Childers began her career in Charlotte at WCNC-TV as producer and reporter in the 1990s in the beginning. She worked as a reporter and producer at WLOS which was an ABC affiliate located in Asheville, North Carolina. In 2002, she was an anchor for News 14 Carolina. Childers was hired by Fox News Channel as a reporter in November of 2010. Her promotion to anchor at the America's News Headquarters, August 2011 during her second year. In 2017 she became an early morning Fox anchor. She was the host of the Fox & Friends First first episode from 4-5 a.m. Childers tweeted a message in April 2012, referring to an article published on an unofficial website which advertised "birther" conspiracy theories. The article claimed that Barack Obama had threatened Chelsea Clinton's life, if she were to discuss Obama's "Obama birth certificate" or the absence of it."
