Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born on 27 August 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Angie Chalke and Doug Chalke. She is the middle of two brothers, the older one, Natasha Chalke, one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah made her acting debut in the film City Boy (1992), an original television film. Following her debut film, Sarah auditioned for the role as Becky in Roseanne (1988) in 1993. The show was searching for a replacement after Alicia Goranson quit the show to attend college. Sarah graduated from highschool in 1995 and was involved in the making of Roseanne (1988) between 1994 and 1995. In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, Sarah starred in two movies: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) in which she played an actress with the name Krista Wilson. Sarah was invited to be a part in a 1998 show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. This was one year after Roseanne (1988). Based on the show Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998) The show also took inspiration from. In 1993 she assumed Becky's role in Roseanne (1988). The actress said she'd like to stop acting and attend college. [2001] (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's elder sibling on Roseanne (1988) however, she's much younger real life. Participated in the 1999 CCMA award ceremony, and presented an award for the best single of the year. September 1999: Appeared in local Vancouver theatre productions at age eight. She is fluent in French as well as German. She works at the hospice which cares for sick children who are terminally ill. In her spare moments, Chalke prefers cooking with her friends (especially Thai and sushi), playing the guitar as well as hiking, skiing (she's an instructor) as well as kayaking, snowboarding and reading. Her father is a lawyer, as are both of her parents are mediators and run a child adoption agency. She accompanied her parents to China two years ago to assist in coordinating the adoptions of a lot of orphans.
