Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols is the daughter of Alison and James Nichols. Nichols has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish ancestral roots. She attended and completed her studies at Cony High School in Augusta which was where she competed in the high jump. She attended Columbia University in New York City in which she was awarded a double degree in economics and math. Then she began modeling, beginning an impressive career working for a variety of high-profile brands like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel was inspired to try acting and was offered a role in the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). This was her first audition. Her film debut came as Jessica Matthews in the prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003). Her success continued through roles in such projects like The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a regular role as the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). Columbia University was her graduation with a double major economics as well as math. She played the lead role of Kiera Cameron, a police officer in the science-fiction series Continuum (2012). She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. The first role she was a candidate for, the restaurant hostess in Sex and the City (1998). On December 30 2013 she was engaged to real estate developer Michael Kershaw. She is a natural blonde.
