Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Vincie, born 10th December 1987 was an American journalist and sports host. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and also hosts their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie started her journey into stock car racing after she received a pit lane pass. After graduating from Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. She gained attention after her own videos on NASCAR were released on stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family relocated to Warrenton when Vincie had begun high school. Vincie is the youngest child of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her maternal grandfather who was a member of Bridgewater College's faculty. Journalism was something she had always been interested in since the age of a child. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie competed in track-and-field competitions and also served as the coach of the school’s wrestling team for four seasons. She was the winner of the 800m race in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with an abundance of information. In 2010 she graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern for the university's athletics division. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote her senior dissertation about gender-based disparities in auto racing which was focused on woman race car driver Danica Patrick. She got interested in the sport once she was granted a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda as well as Wendy Venturini.
