Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kuniz was born Milena Kuris on August 14 in 1983 in Chernivtsi. Kunis immigrated with her parents Elvira Kunis and Mark Kunis to the United States at seven years old. They eventually settled in Los Angeles. The Kunis family came to the United States with just 250 dollars. This was a difficult start. Kunis' parents both quit their professions to help their children. Mark, a former mechanical engineer, was quickly employed as a driver for taxis. Elvira, who was an instructor of Physics in Ukraine ended up managing the pharmacy. Kunis acknowledged that he did not know American culture until he arrived. "I didn't understand the people. I couldn't comprehend the language. The first sentence in my essay for college admission was "Imagine being deaf and blind at the age of 7". It was like moving to the States. But it was not an easy transition. Milena Markovna Kunis was the child of Mark Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine), and Elvira. She has a brother who is older. Her mom is a physics teacher and also runs a pharmacy. Her dad is a mechanical engineer, however, he also works as taxi driver. She is Jewish and her family relocated to Los Angeles at the age of seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her primary school. When she was nine, she started learning to act. She auditioned for a few commercials, and began her career in her first television part on 'Days of our Lives', in 1994.She played minor roles as a young actor in "Honey, We Shrunk Ourself and 'Santa with a Muscle and the Angelina Jolie filmcalled "Gia". She landed her first big role in 1998, playing Jackie Burkhart on the hit sitcom 'That's the 70s Show'. After receiving rave reviews, she was asked to voice the character of Meg Griffin on animated sitcom  Family Guy'.
