2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps, also known as 2 Chainz, is a hip hop artist and rapper from America. Georgia native, he started his career in hip-hop with Playaz Circle, which he formed along with a high school friend. Their debut album, 'Supply and Demand was an average success. Epps released the album 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was an enormous hit and debuted at the top spot on US Billboard 200. The album sold 147,000 copies in the first week. Since the release of his album it was impossible to go back. He became famous as one of America's most well-known hip-hop artists. He's been shortlisted for six Grammy awards to date, out of which he has been awarded one for his song "No Problem". After he was found with marijuana and promethazine inside his bag, he was escorted off a plane at Los Angeles International Airport. This caused controversy. But, his encounters with the law haven't impacted his popularity much. His fourth and latest studio album , 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' released in June of 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story', which was the debut studio album of 2 Chainz, can be considered to be his debut album and also his most successful one. It was a huge hit and reached the top of the US Billboard 200. The album also sold 147,000 copies in a matter of weeks. The album eventually sold 623,000 copies during the course of the year. The album, which featured songs that were a hit, including "No Lie' and 'Birthday Song' and I'm Different', was also nominated for 'Best Rap Album', at the 55th Grammy Awards. There were mixed reviews. 2 Chainz married Kesha Warren in the year 2013. The couple has three kids: Heaven, Harmony and Halo. He's not just a highly accomplished professional, but he is known for his brushes with the law. He has been arrested several times for possession of drugs.
